52 Photos Project / Week Five / Water

Yellowstone Waterfall . . . took my breath away!

I was excited to read that Bella's prompt for a photo this week was water.  I had just returned from vacation to Yellowstone National Park just last week and hadn't even had time to process all the photos I had taken with my new camera.  I knew this one was in there and I am excited to share it with you. I believe the photo says it all . . . just imagine standing there watching it and taking it all in.  The snow was beginning to melt pretty rapidly the week we were there and so the water was gushing from the mountain hills into the grand canyon of Yellowstone.  It was beautiful, inspiring and the sounds took my breath away.  I am sure that visiting Yellowstone in the summertime  is just as beautiful, but being able to witness this and many other waterfalls in full beauty was amazing to me.  Water is for nourishment . . . nourishment gives life.  The cycle of nature is all too majestic!!
